About the session

We shared the work of the NHS England and NHS Improvement’s national Inclusive Health and Wellbeing Programme.

We were delighted to be joined by Dr. Guy Harrison and Mark Appleby

Dr Guy Harrison is Head of Spiritual and Pastoral Care, Consultant in Staff Support and Director of the Oxford Centre for Spirituality and Wellbeing.  He shared insights into psycho-spiritual care for health and social care staff and the work he is doing to support the religious needs of BAME NHS staff

Mark Appleby is the Director or HR and Organisational Development at Yeovil District Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.  He shared the fantastic work at Yeovil to look after the health and wellbeing of their staff.  Through the annual survey, staff at Yeovil Hospital have rated it the best hospital in England for employee health and wellbeing for the third year running.  Mark kindly agreed to share the Yeovil Covid Recovery Plan .
